About Us
For over sixty years, Ryle Menswear has been part of the high street in Tralee. We started as a small family menswear shop and grew into one of the most established names for premium men's clothing in the southwest of Ireland.
Today we operate from our flagship store on 49 Ashe Street, in the centre of Tralee — a five-minute walk from the bus station, and a destination for customers across Kerry, Limerick and Cork.
What we do
We stock the brands that men in Kerry actually want — and that usually means a drive to Cork or Dublin. We took the view, decades ago, that you shouldn't have to.
Premium menswear from: Hugo Boss, Paul & Shark, Tommy Hilfiger, GANT, Barbour, Farah, R2 Amsterdam, Bugatti, Meyer, Benetti and more. From the smart casual polo to the wool overcoat, from jeans to formal shoes — we keep one foot in tailoring and one in modern menswear.
Made-to-Measure tailoring. Our in-house service offers over 5,000 fabrics from Italy, France and Savile Row. We measure, we recommend, we deliver — usually in four to six weeks. Each garment is built for the man it's intended for, not for a size chart.
Suit hire for every occasion. Wedding, debs, tuxedo and funeral hire — with full fitting included. Premium hire brands like Skopes, Torre, Benetti, Remus Uomo and Herbie Frogg. Same-day to next-week turnaround when life moves quickly.
Boyswear and Communion. A dedicated boyswear collection that takes the same care as our adult range.
What we believe
Premium brands should be locally available. The labels you'd expect in a Dublin department store should be available in your hometown — and you should be able to try them on properly.
Curated, not just stocked. We choose every piece in our store with intent. If it doesn't fit our standards or our customers' lives, we don't carry it.
One-stop styling. From the knit to the shoes, we'll help you build a complete look — for the wedding, the interview or the weekend round.
Made for real Irish life. Our wool coats are built for an Atlantic November. Our linen shirts know what a Kerry July feels like. We don't stock for the runway.
We dress grooms, debs students, fathers of the bride, businessmen, and a fair number of men who just want one really good jumper. Whatever brings you in, we treat the conversation the same way.
