When to book your debs suit

Debs season runs from September through October, and the best time to come in is August — while the full range is on the rails and there's time for alterations without any panic. Going made-to-measure? Come in earlier, that takes 4–6 weeks.

Buy or hire?

If you've a wedding, an interview or a 21st coming up, buying makes sense — a suit you own gets worn for years, and this season the shirt and tie come free. Three-piece debs suits start at €269. If it's a one-night thing, or you want something bolder than you'd wear again, debs suit hire starts at €150.

Getting the fit right

A dear suit that doesn't fit looks worse than an affordable one that does. The shoulder seam should sit where your shoulder ends, the jacket should cover your backside, and you want about a centimetre of shirt cuff showing. We measure and fit in-store, and alterations are part of the service.
